HOW TO PAINT EVERYTHING
Join me for an unforgettable, unique, intense, fun, exciting, eye opening, mind expanding, world shattering, universe exploding, soft, a little funny (“haha” and otherwise), intimate, and life changing 5-day workshop during which we will reinforce standard oil painting techniques and then break through them to explore what lies beyond. If you have ever been curious just how far you can push your own creativity, then I can’t wait to share this special experience with you.
Each day will be full of unique demonstrations, examples, and experiments. We will begin the week by covering a more standard approach to painting, ensuring that we all begin on common footing. We will then, just as quickly, tear those walls of tradition down,. expanding outward to explore more extended techniques. From bold use of color and stroke, pushing the boundaries of form and proportion, light reactive painting, optical illusion, the use of improvised tools, and so much more, we are sure to have quite the journey of self discovery and expression.
Apart from the live demos, I will be available to you for one-on-one advice and critique during your own studio time throughout each and every day. We will spend meals together where we will continue our meaningful conversations about the importance of candy, and we are sure to spend many late nights together in the studio, painting side by side into the early hours of the morning. I will schedule a private session with each student to discuss your work, your journey in art, your pets, and to answer any questions you might have (I have a lot of movie recommendations).
All skill levels welcome and encouraged.

YOUR STAY
Your Arrival & First Day
On the first day, we’ll ease into the experience with a relaxed and welcoming start. We offer a group transfer from Life Drawing Barcelona in the city center. Once everyone has arrived at the venue, we’ll gather for a welcome and introduction session, where we’ll go over the schedule and details of the week ahead. Afterward, you’ll be assigned your room, and we’ll enjoy a laid-back evening with delicious local food and drinks—an opportunity to unwind and get to know each other.
The Workshop Experience
The following day, we’ll dive into five consecutive days of intensive learning with your chosen tutor. The detailed workshop itinerary will be shared on arrival. Throughout the week, we’ll also enjoy field trips, communal dinners, and fun evenings—all carefully arranged so you can focus entirely on learning, creating, and making the most of your time. Throughout the workshop, each participant will have a one-on-one session with their tutor for a personalized portfolio review.
Departure
On the morning of the 7th day, we’ll provide an early group transfer back to the city center, returning to Life Drawing Barcelona, and one later in the afternoon. See our faq’s for travel information.
