THE VENUE
Our Barcelona location places you in the heart of one of Europe’s most culturally rich and creative cities. Beyond the time spent in the studio, the city offers endless opportunities to explore art, architecture, and culture, making Barcelona itself an extension of the workshop experience.
Participants can visit institutions such as the Picasso Museum Barcelona, Fundació Joan Miró, Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona (MACBA), Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya (MNAC), and Museu Tàpies, alongside contemporary galleries and cultural spaces throughout the city. Barcelona’s art scene spans centuries, from historic collections and the work of Picasso and Miró to contemporary exhibitions and emerging artists.
The city’s architecture, streets, markets, galleries, and public spaces offer inspiration at every turn. During your stay, there is plenty of opportunity to combine focused studio time with museum visits, exhibitions, and simply experiencing the creative energy of Barcelona.

BARCELONA WORKSHOPS

YOUR STAY
The Workshop Experience
Over four days, you’ll work closely with your chosen tutor in an intensive and focused studio environment. The detailed workshop itinerary will be shared with you in advance, while still leaving room for the workshop to develop naturally throughout the days.
Each participant will also have a one-on-one session with the tutor for a personalized portfolio review. Basic workshop materials and any required models are provided, allowing you to focus on learning, experimenting, and developing your work.
Being based in Barcelona means the experience continues beyond the studio. Outside workshop hours, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the city’s museums, galleries, architecture, restaurants, and cultural life, either independently or together with other participants.
Meals & Accommodation
Accommodation and meals are not included in the Barcelona workshop, giving you the freedom to choose where you would like to stay and experience the city at your own pace.
Drinks and light snacks will be available at the studio throughout the workshop. Please see our FAQs for more information about accommodation, travel, materials, and what to bring.
